Recommended for younger elementary school audiences
Story Hour: The classic story time is made all the more special when it's the author reading! Miriam one of her books (Miss Pistachio's Big Day" or "Miss Pistachio and Toby Tucker's Adventure").
Workshop Activity: After a reading of one of her books, Miriam does a craft activity with the students. For example, coloring and pasting a Miss Pistachio paper doll. A wonderful way to make the book come to life! Recommended for very small groups, no larger than 25 students
How a Book is Made: An interactive presentation showing the many steps of book publication from developing a story concept to finish. Afterwards, Miriam reads one of her books, answers questions. Educational and fun!
Highly recommended for students. Recommended for medium to large groups, grades 1-5; presentations run 30 min-1 hour.
